1. About SHINMIRU
SHINMIRU is a self-understanding and entertainment service that displays personality patterns and related insights based on answers provided by users.
2. Results and limitations
SHINMIRU does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional diagnosis or advice. Results are provided for self-reflection and entertainment and do not guarantee relationships, behavior, health, or future outcomes.
3. Paid digital content
Paid features become available after successful payment confirmation. The price and available payment methods are displayed on the checkout page before purchase.
4. Refunds and cancellations
Because access is supplied as digital content immediately after payment, cancellations or refunds are generally unavailable after delivery has begun. We will review duplicate charges, technical failures, and cases where applicable law requires a remedy.
5. Prohibited conduct
Users must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse purchase-access links, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use the service unlawfully.
6. Intellectual property
Text, designs, characters, logos, software, and other content belong to SHINMIRU or their respective lawful owners. No rights are transferred except the limited right to use the service personally.
7. Availability and liability
The service may be changed, suspended, or discontinued when necessary. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SHINMIRU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Mandatory consumer rights applicable in a user’s country or region are not excluded.
Privacy Policy
1. Information processed
SHINMIRU may process service-usage data, access time, browser and device information, referring pages, diagnostic answers, results, payment-confirmation information, and information supplied when contacting us.
2. Diagnostic information
Diagnostic answers and results may be processed or stored in the user’s browser to provide the quiz, results, saved progress, compatibility features, and premium access.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. SHINMIRU does not directly store full card numbers. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy.
4. Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics is loaded only after the user accepts analytics cookies through the consent notice. If consent is declined, analytics remains disabled. Essential browser storage may still be used for service functions, saved progress, language preferences, and purchase access.
5. Purposes
Information is used to provide and secure the service, confirm payments, restore purchases, respond to inquiries, investigate failures, and—with consent where required—understand and improve service usage.
6. Sharing
Information may be handled by service providers such as Stripe, Google Analytics, and Netlify as necessary to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
7. Security and retention
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information. Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
8. User choices
Users can decline analytics through the cookie notice and may clear browser data using their browser settings. Privacy inquiries may be submitted using the contact address below.
